Will there be a church in TS2 (the sims 2)?

The game will not come with any, but nothing can stop you from building one on the community lots (just like you can in TS1). Maxis does not plan on making religion a big part of The Sims, but you always can control the way you play, with custom content and/or the way you build.

Well at a wedding it showed them outside a church but i dunno if u can actually go in it!
