How do you get magic growth?

if you live in magic town, you have to create 10 spells or charms. if you live in the neighborhood, 15. The growths will just appear in about 6 hours

Red Crystals give your Sim the "Hot Foot" ability, black allows them to extinguish fires, white provides levitation ability, blue allows them to shock other Sims, green is to spook other Sims, purple lets them teleport and yellow provides a new magic trick. Have fun....

When you get the crystals, you can click on them and it should say learn *blank* (extinguish, hand buzzer, etc.) ability.
