You mean the llama that's mentioned when you call somebody up and they turn your invitation down, don't you?

I think it's an american figure of speech.

@ Dan-What Llama?
@Neil-i think you're wrong, because i'm american, and we rarely talk about Llamas where i live. (maybe in the midwest or great plains they do, i don't know)
Maxis has this whole "Llama thing" going on, so that's probably it.

Well yeah but if you google "feed my llama" it seems to turn up in a few blogs as a sort of sign-off phrase.
