How do i put downloaded Zip files into the sims game?

Unzip them and put them in the appropriate folder. The download should come with a readme file that tells you where they go.

Unless told otherwise, most objects will go here: C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Downloads or in a sub-folder.

Otherwise, they will go into one of the sub-folders here:

C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\GameData

Hi, i think you can try to download the file maid to help you install all the objects. You will only need to install your homes yourself.

You simply MUST Get the Add-On Handler by sims...it is the easiest way to download zip files to your games.

if you dont know unzip something go to www.winzip.com and download the program from there

Just get the Add-On-Handler. Just search it on this site (You can download it for free on this site!)
Its a big help i had issues with this thing too!

Unzip it by right clicking and selecting Extract all... on the menu. Then it shoul come up with a box with a small text box. Press the Browse... button next to that and find either the downloads folder or objects folder. Unzip and you will have the object in sims!
