In the sims 2 will you be able to get all the items that were in the sims 1 and the expansion packs?

On a website they said that there will only be a couple of items from the sims 1 on the game!!!

Sims 2 is a new game! It's not an addition to Sims 1, it's not just Sims 1 with updated graphics, or anything like that. While some objects may be similar (for example, there will be double beds), they will in no way be based on the objects in Sims 1. If you really liked a particular object, you can turn to custom content by either making it yourself or finding someone else who will. I do suspect, however, that the custom content sites will be flooded very quickly with remakes of Sims 1 objects. It's just one of those things people do ;)

They will have some similar items im sure, but they havnt started to make any expansion pacts yet so who knows what they will do...
