When I download an objects andopen the folder and click on the file a thing pops up and sasy that windows needs to know wat program created it for it to work, how do I fix this or get around this?

You don't open the object, you put it in your Downloads folder and run The Sims.

go to sims web site and download
sims pus zip,it will put in in the right floder,you just drop the zip file in it and it will do the rest for you
