when i try to make a magic spell, sometimes an ingredient for the spell doesnt show up as an option for me to put into the machine. how do i make the spells i want to?

well ive tried to make spells from the book, but when i try to put them in the machine, they dont show up as an option for me to put it in the machine. for example: i want to make the spell with butter, toad sweat, and clown confettie, but when i try and make it, it says i cant put any of them in.
