what are any cheats to help me unlock the spells quicker !!!

Not sure of any cheats as in the type you enter in the box, But there are several download objects you can use Like the home shopping computer by DJ Sims you can buy all the spell ingredients from it there is also a vase and a wall hanging or two here and there to get the charms and ingredients I can dig up the links for them if you want

elare Sims
