Can I use my Sims 1 expansion pack for sims 2 or must I wait until they release expansion packs for sims 2?

No you can't use the expansion pack from The Sims 1. I'm pretty sure that they will come out with new expansion packs for TS2

Nope, you can't. The Sims 2 is entirely different from the Sims 1, and I can already tell that's there's going to be an expansions pack, because they purposely have excluded a lot of items.
