Ok u know wat why the heck did the creators of sims2 make it on such a good comuter....cause my mom is not goin to buy me a new computer for this game!

That really sux...I know how you feel! but such an advanced game as the Sims 2 does need an equally advanced system to play it! it's sad..I know!

Ever heard of saving your pennies and buying your own computer? Anyway you don't need a super modern computer for this game -
it just helps.

Actually, it is quite possible to run it on a lower specification than the one Maxis supplies. It just won't be very nice to play.

If you could play it, you would understand why the game needs a supercomputer. I bought a new computer just before the game came out. My old one had a hard time with Sims 1. Listen, it will be a while before Sims 2 is a really good game to play. There is a bit left to be desired. It needs more objects, wallpaper and floors. The stuff is mostly boring right now. The flowers look really bad. The big difference is Sims 2 is more 3D. You can change your viewing angle so that it feels like you are standing in a house or lot and the people look 3D. I keep going back to my Sims 1 while I wait for new things to be recolored and created.

can i just say that i am having the exact same problem as Sim_fan_92!! i no how u feel! The game installed ok but it's just the gra[hics card that is not good enuff!!! My graphics card is only 4Mb and TS2 needs 32Mb!!!! :-( But i'm getting a new computer soon!! YAY!! Sim_fan_92 take ur comp 2 a PC store and ask them if they can upgrade your PC! :-D
