Sims Keeps freezing up. I have Windows XP / 640 MB Ram. Sim Deluxe Edition. I can play the game for a while then it just freezes. When I restart it freezes right away. I have stopped all non essential processes. I am using a money cheat code

check the hard disc you installed the Sims on, and check that you have at least a quarter of free space on the disc! (if it's to full, games can crash)
Otherwise your disc maybe needs a cleanup! (disc defragmenter)

My hard disk has 28 GB total and only 5 GB used. This does not seam to be the problem. Also I just rebuilt my entire system two weeks ago. It had this problem before and after the rebuild.

Any other Ideas

use the erazer and uninstall it make soure you remove all files use
serch to make soure all files are removed than reinstall it,and make soure it gos into your program
floder it should work than,and make soure you have drect x 8.0 or highter on your computer
