I have Windows XP and my computer fits all of the system requirements. I can install the game in about 10 minutes and it will announce that it is fully installed. However, when I load the game to play it, it crashes and my PC restarts. How can I fix this?

Me too man i click the sims button the pc restarts

Windows XP Service Pack 2?

Seems to be the cause.
Also what graphic card do you have?

my dad just dowloaded xp sp2 and mine keeps crashing. we have no idea what to do, any ideas? i cant play the game for 10 mins without it crashing. i'm getting really fed up now. ps. we have all the system requirments, if not, better.

I have the same problem I play for about one hour and all of a sudden it crashes and goes back to the desktop could someone please help me Ive tried everything

it we remove this service pack then there is a serious problem if i doesn't make any difference, has any1 tried it?????
