I can install my brand new game fine, until i get to the 2nd disk, it tells me it cannot install voice pack 6, retry? or cancel the installation. I pressed retry up to 16 times, and in the end i just had to cancel, why wont it let me copy the file?

If the disk is even a little dirty it won't play at all. Check to see if any scratches or fingerprints are on the disk. I had that same problem. I returned it and got a new one. Now it works fine.

Different drives have different tolerance levels - some will work with a disc that's covered in fingerprints, others not at all. And others will only work if the data side is magnificantly clean.

On the other hand, you may just have faulty media.

I have the same problem during installation and it annoyes me (exept mine comes a little later when it can't install this metal package or something). I'm currently lending my disks to sum1 who can play it, but i've looked all over the internet and even sent a message to The EA I.T Technicians. This is what they replied with:

If you do not find any scratches, fingerprints, or marks of any kind on your CD, try renaming the InstallShield folder, located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield, to InstallShieldOld. Start the installation again to reinstall the InstallShield components with the newest version.
