Knowledge - Question

i downloaded a house from the sims exchange. Now, when i go to the neighbourhood the lot is totally empty, no mailbox or trashcan ether and i can't click on the lot because my game crashes, i tried to download and ad a new house but that won't work,!

Can you maybe bulldoze the lot?
if not maybe using the Lot manager and replacing it with a empty or built lot from another neighborhood which is easy to do with the Lot Manager.
