No, but maybe one of their friends did. Do Sims commit suicide in Sims2? I noticed at the wedding party one of the guests was crying and making a spectacle of himself. When my Sims returned from their honeymoon I noticed the headstone in their front yard.

wow. i don't think they can commit suicide cos maxis said that would make the game mature. usually when they are hungry or in a bad mood they just go home. is there a possibility they were trapped?

Hmm...I don't know, the party was in the backyard and wasn't fenced in or anything so the people were free to come and go.
I did noticed a couple of the guests weren't getting along. I heard some arguing and thats when I noticed the guy crying. Thats what made me think he got depressed or something. Its very strange. I wish the manual covered stuff like this.

Sims have been known according to Usenet to just drop dead for reasons that aren't really clear (to me anyway). Comes under the "features" I suppose. Of course if you electrocute them that's a different matter.

They can die out of misery! Maybe that particular sim had a crush on one of the married couple!
