Help! Every time my 2 sims get into a bed or tub to try for another baby, the program jumps and they are standing either side of the tub/bed. It only happens with this family (who I've been playing for ages) and I've had no problems before. Any ideas?!

Thanks - that was my only thought too - but is there any way to save all the work I've done with my families if I reinstall? Or do I have to lose everything? I suppose on the plus side, Mortimer comes back to life, but still, I'd lose an awful lot of people!

Assuming an NT OS, Go to C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods (XXX is your logon name) and copy them somewhere else.

This actually sounds like the infamous 'Jump Out' bug that Maxis will be fixing in the patch. It has something to do with memories and it is contagious. If your sim begins speaking to another Sim about this particular 'Jump Out' memory then they will be affected by it as well when they attempt to discuss it.
