does someone know where i can find a decorative stair to use in front of your frontdoor?

You can find them in three different colors (brown, white and gold) at http://www.simsinteriordesigns.net/ in the exterior category in their San Francisco set.. They're two tiles wide, but I imagine they'll work for you if that's the sort of thing you had in mind..
