I went to play my Sims2 and it says that it had an error while installing so reinstall so i tried to unistall it and it says that it is not on the system. This happened to me on The Sims1 but they had the Sims Eraser!!:

Just reinstall it, you don't have to uninstall it beforehand, just reinstall over the top of it.

Um, what error do you get when installing then?
That's why you can't uninstall - there's nothing to uninstall.

if all else fails download a registry tool to fix it. I personally use Ace Utilities but I bought it. IF you would like to buy one I believe that is the best one on the market but I'm sure some others come with trials or demos or are freeware.
