how do you clone sims on Create-a-Sim?

You don't. This is impossible. Only Bodyshop sims can be cloned from a template, CAS sims are create-and-forget. There is no way to save a CAS Sim for reuse, so you're SOL.

If you want something similar you could always make a child and then turn him into an adult. It will probably be about the best you can get

I just used the same face, hair, eyes, and more or less the same facial features. One of my twins is fuller in the face though, but i guess thats good coz u dont want exactly the same

You can clone a CAS Sim in game. Select the Sim and go into buy mode. Hold down the shift key and cLick on the ground and a clone Sim will appear. Some very amusing situations can be made from this trick.
ALso, you can upload your house with the Sims in it to your Simpage and have the Sim saved that way. You may then use various cheats to move the Sim to whatever household that you want. Simlogical's transporter plus allows for this, as does The InSeminator at MTS2.
