No they can't. A little window will come up saying something like: "I know I have other responsibilities, but I just can't bring myself to leave the little one alone."

Alternatively if the adults die leaving the kids home alone they'll get taken by the social worker at some point anyway.

Children can go to community lots, babies and toddlers can't. And you can opt for the nanny as well as babysitter.

I'm not sure if you can voluntarily leave the child home alone. If, for instance, your child comes home from school and all your adult sims are at work, it just gives you a message saying "Its not a good idea to leave your child home alone..."

Well, if you want to go to work and you have a toddler or a baby, then you won't go.

The best thing is to have the mother or father to quit their job and stay at home. Nannies aren't really good at being nannies. When I hired a nanny once, she kept staying on my swing set and neglecting my baby.

I have two kids a toddler and a child and i moved the whole family into a new home and the social worker came inspected the house and took both my kids even if only the child was having problems at school. What's up with that?Maybe i should have taken care of the furniture and stuff in the house first..

LMAO that is funny. Those Sims sure love the swings. Why do they have nannies in the game if they are not going to do their job?

I've never seen a social worker show up to inspect the house. That is weird.
