in TS2 do you have a certain amount of space like in TS1 on ps2?

I am unsure what it is like in PS 2 do you mean in regards of space in the home or space as in added things?
Need more info to answer

In TS2 for the playstation at least you cannot build or buy too much or it'll tell you you're in violation of the fire code. I don't know if sims can be arrested or fined for this or if things just light on fire spontaneously. I was close to the limit once and a bed lit on fire.
