How can you tell if you're sim is sick? and when I wanted to have my simguy call in to take a day off of work(to take care of his toddler),the only option was quit job, he had the job for only one day.

usually if ur sim has food poisoning a little popup will let u know. ur sim can catch colds, flues, pnueumonia and can have morning sickness and food poisoning. 4 the cold, flue and pneumonia ur sim will be coughing . ur sim will sneeze if they have a cold, have diarrhea if they have the flue (not sure how u can tell if they have that) and will have fatigue if they have pneumonia. food poisoning and morning sickness both involve vomiting.

You can call in sick if you miss the carpool - straight after you have call work and the option is there

If you have only been at the job for a few days, I don't think it will let you call in sick. You kind of have to be there for a while before it really lets you do that.
