Where do you find a light?

You find the light hidden behind one of the plants that eat you. It's hidden between the eater thing and you can't close without the thing grabbing you. Then when the eater thing grabs ahold of you press B as many times as you can. The eater will let go and it will get stuck, you are free to get the light but don't dwell long because the eater will get free.
