when i try to install sims deluxe edition an error pops up.other answers say that it could be that my computer is to old or slow , how can i tell if this is so ?

Well what error message do you get?
What's the spec of your computer?
Google for AIDA32 if you don't know your computer spec.

My error message is "Comonent Transfer Error"

That's either a faulty drive or faulty media.
