how do they born their children?

First you have to 'play' in the bed or the hot tub then they get a lump in their tummy, in a few days a hospital amblunce car will arrive then they go hospital and in a couple of days your sim will come back with a baby.

A pretty thorough explanation. But there are about 3 days of morning sickness between the "conception" and the "birth" - slightly truncated from humans...
