Maxis hasn't revealed much info about specific objects. It's best to wait for info from Maxis - or of course the game itself - to see whether they do or not.

Of course eventually everything can be made using custom content.

Well not at the moment!!! Maxis are thinking about adding cell phones wehich would b really cool :-)

In the most recent chat Lucy Bradshaw said they don't have cellphones yet, but they might be in the final game. However it's not sure...
