How do you get back pedestrian portals once you've *accidentaly* deleted them?
4 Answers
You don't "accidentally" delete the portals, not in normal mode at least.
Make a note of the lot number, then grab a new template from your C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\TemplateXXX folders, organised by expansion pack and put it in the UserdataX/House folder.
So for example, Neighbourhood 1, Lot number 8, pop into C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\TemplateUserData\Houses, select House08.iff and copy (not move) to C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\UserData\Houses.

Well the templates are blank, otherwise they wouldn't be templates. But yes I should have said that you would lose the existing house on that lot, so sorry about that.
