I want to uninstall The Sims 2 from my current computer to a new computer. Will I have to create new families, or will they still be there?

Just copy the neighbourhoods across.

i dont know very strange things have happened i had to remove everything of my computer then put it all back on again so i installed the sims 2 back on ofcourse and i was playing a family and the mother sim was writing in her diary and a picture of someone i created before i removed everything come up!
I was like how do u know about her eh?
uve never seen her before shes not even in the game now!
