is it possible to have twins in the sims deluxe edition?

Officially no.

In reality, yes. But the twin will just wander off and never be seen again.

I didn't think it was possible so I got a shock when I got identical twin girls on Sims Deluxe. The twin didn't wander off in fact shes a hoot. She is part of the family and they can interact with her but you can't control her. In fact the one you can control sometimes swaps with her uncontrollable twin and when you try to action the active one....the active one ignores you does her own thing and the other twin you can't control does all the actions. It's funny. The uncontrollable twin acts purely on freewill unless shes swapped places somehow with her active twin. Only one name comes up as being added to the family but 2 kids of the same sex are actually born. I think it happened by accident as I paused the game just as the baby was born - there was a little red icon on the new editions picture - by chance I clicked on it and 2 girls of the same sex were born. So in answer to your question - it can and did happen. It does however mean you have to watch the uncontrollable twin a lot and try and get others to interact with her and leave her in a place where she will automatically go to bed and eat etc. Otherwise she will sleep with anyone in house - pee her pants and so on. It's a lot of added fun though.....Good Luck.
