im trying to install the orginal sims game but everytime i pop the game in nothing happens...the autoplay doesn't even come up am i missing something??

right click on my computer
choose properties
click on the devices tab
find your cd drives name
double click on it
look for ''auto insert notification'' and make sure the box next to it is ticked
should help, if doesn't don't complain to me

thanks for your help...unfortuantly it didn't work...everything is working fine and i even put a different game (not the sims) and that worked fine...but all my sims games doesn't and wen i try to put in a different sims game it says to install the first one but that doesn't werk lol any advice?
