I have yet to be able to have an older female sim get pregnant, However, I was able to have an elder male sim inpregnate a younger adult sim female. In pleasantview I had Dina Caliante try for a baby w/ Goth Senior. She suceeded and had a daugther, he however stayed her boyfriend but never moved in or married Dina LOL. I had the optoin but I decided this would keep ti more interesting. (I even had him hit on her roomie Nina)

PS if you create a family w/ small children I like to create a family elder, like mother of the girl who's the mom of the baby. I make them very clean and nice and their goal is "Family". If you move them in, they will take care of your kids while the husband and wife have more time to themselves.
