When sims have babies, how long does it take for the baby to grow to a toddler?

Technically less than that, in reality about three and a half days as Sims make a song and dance about getting the kid to grow up.

About one sim day. A little window will pop up and say something like (Sim name) will grow up at 7pm the nest day! It seems like this little bundle of joy only came yesterday!
(It's being sarcastic).
