My Sims do not speak my language! I uninstalled and reinstalled and I still cannot get it fixed. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Sims don't speak English, Dutch, Swedish, German, French, Chinese, Spanish, or any existing language in "our" world. They speak a mixture of languages, called Simlish, entirely made up by Maxis. Your Sims are not able to speak a "real" language, only their own. Play the game enough and you'll understand them eventually though :-)

Take note of the speech bubbles over people's heads when they're talking to each other if you want to know what they're talking about.

But as stated, there is no "real" language as such. It'd be no fun otherwise :)
