Why are there more spaces in the cookbook and spellbook?

because not all of the recipes and spells can be given to you. there are 2 more that i know that aren't listed.

ok-they are: 1- Price of fame (Beeswax,Diamond dust, Black roses) and 2-A friend indeed (Butter, Pet Treats, and Clown Confetti) Hope that helps
