Knowledge - Question

I want one of my families to adopt a dog or a cat but they somehow can't! The option to adopt just doesn't appear and I have no idea why that happens. How do I get it to appear?

How many people are in this family? If there are more than 7, you can't add a pet.

no, there's only 3 in the family. I can buy fishes and birds but it's just I can't adopt a dog or a cat

go to the town and go up to the box where the animals are and clik adopt.

Fishes and birds arent part of the family like dogs and cats!

You have to have all of your people in the family at your house before you can adopt a pet!

When your sim is on a date, you can't adopt a cat or a dog.

if you have less than 299 simoleons you can't adopt a pet either

press and hold Shift + Ctrl + Alt + C now a a tiny thing should appear left hand side. Type rosebud to repeat this type rosebud and ;! (rosebud;!;!;!;! ect.) like so.

press and hold shift, cntl and at and c now a tiny thing should appear same as above. try typing motherlode .i'm not sure if it works try
