I have Sims 2 and the University exp. pack. They used to work, but now no longer do, I have tried reinstalling a couple of times, but when I try to run Sims 2, I get the first splash picture then nothing.

Addtl. info. I have also recently added Service Pack 2 for Win XP, and also installed Norton Internet Security. I wonder if one or the other is causing conflicts, since I have 2 email programs (Eudora and Incredimail, for my 2 main email accts.) that now no longer work properly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Norton probably broke it, Norton is good at that.

Get rid of it and see if things improve. Sims2 isn't affected by Service Pack 2.
