If TS2 rating changed tobe M(Mature) or AO(Adults Only), what would do happen????

My mom,although she hates the whoohoo option,generally likes the sims..along with my Grandma and friends. They say this Jack guy is a moron,so,chances are they will sty by them for me if they stay teen safe no matter the rating.
