Knowledge - Question
I bought 'The Sims 2' on pc but can't get it to upload past the 2nd disk, we have twice as much memory needed, so I took it back for another and then another and then another- still no luck.

Usually one of four things:

1) Faulty media (you've ruled that out as it's almost unheard of for FOUR sets of discs to all be faulty)

2) Faulty memory. If you have alternate memory, swap it out to eliminate this.

3) Faulty drive. Try the secondary drive if you have one.

4) The firmware for the CD unit. If you have a Dell machine, they have been putting in various types of CD Units that don't like reading very much so a firmware update is necessary.
