How do you get the Cheat Gnome? I know how but it doesn't work when I try...

are you using o l1 l2 r2 r1? thats just to activate the knome. then for your motives you use r2 l1 r1 l2 left o. Also make sure you really look for the knome. It will be in a different place in each district.
