I cannot seem to win awards no matter how long I play for.I have used 2 big cheats (the Fame Charm (from Making Magic) and a Love Crystal download for relationship points). Does this have something to do with it?

I don't think so, i used cheats and i have some awards - though here are some tips:

- For Performance awards - try to stick to one area e.g Music, Fashion. Keep at it and you should get an award.

- I think your sim has to go to studio town every day and work quite hard to get a simmy, and have a high fame level. (It's delivered at half past midnight by Marilyn Monroe, btw)

- To get a people's choice award you need to be friends with loads of 'anybodies'. Also - try to get your sim to talk to lots of people in studio town, sign autographs etc.

Hope this helped - i think the main thing u need is patience though!
