How cum u cant have pets but u can in sim's 1???????

Yeah because in Sims 1 the pets weren't available til the sixth expansion pack.

There is an expansion pack to have pets in Sims 2 its called Sims 2: Pets, as well as in Sims 1 it is Sims 1: Unleashed..

There is always expansion packs, dont hurt yourself freaking out over not being able to have a pet in the Sims 2 because you dont have an expansion pack..
