I've tried to install the sims 2 on my PC (it's been on it before) and as I go to run the game after installation it gives me this error: "the procedure entry point DdEntry18 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDraw.ddl" ..any insight?
It likely means that you don't have the latest version of DirectX installed on your computer and/or that DirectX related file might've been accidentally deleted or corrupted. To download the latest version from Microsoft, go here:

You need DirectX to run 3d games, so I'm pretty sure that's your only problem. Hope that helps!
