Knowledge - Question

when I install Sims deluxe edition, everything goes OK uuntil Ugo 2 play game, then screen reverts back 2 desktop & game doesnt play. have uninstalled/reinstalled but this hasnt helped.

Try closing all windows programs, except systray and explorer

I have had a similar problem. I tried this advice and I've tried adjusting my resolution. I've also tried getting a patch, which also isn't working. Doesn't anyone have anything for me?
