the sims that i created just wont wake up after days and days of sleep! Please advise if its anything that i did not purchase? there is an icon shown on the top left hand with a "X" on the sleep mode.

Wow... Ok you must have a bug... Try going to the actual Sims2 website and downloading their update... It should fix it.

Ehm I have that too actually. Try clicking on the toilet or something and that they should use it. Because if they don't have anything to do after waking up, and you have the free will turned off, they won't wake up. At least, if what you have is the same bug. So you have to give them something to do.
