Hi i just got a dog lastnight and was wandering should i take both my members of the family to work or keep one home to take care of him and teach him his skills how do you people take care of your animals in this case ?

Simple, if u hire a Butler he will feed it, either that or just fill the bowl be4 u go to work. Or use the move_objects on cheat and make him/her full happy, but i doubt they will starve. my dog even ate plates left on the floor!!!

My dog does that! I feed it on human food from the fridge off C-and-c-enterprises. If I cross out the "Eat" option on my sims activity thing it drops the plate and the dog eats it later. The dog will be OK during the day as long as it has enough food and a bed. Its social level might go down a bit though so make sure you either let the strays come on your lot or buy another dog to keep it company. Plus on a couple of websites (like c and c enterprises) there are some pet bowls that give your pet full skills and personality. Wicked!
