Put disk 1 (I think yes?) or the dvd in and keep clicking OK or pressing enter to every popup screen to install. I once installed a Sims game in a language my computer didn't understand (so it didn't show text in the prompting screens), the install is that easy.

Now if you have a default install, you should have those sims icons (little pictures) showing up all over the place (in the start/programs menu under maxis or ea games or something, on the desktop...) and double click one of those while your cd 1 or dvd is in the cd/dvd reader!

If it doesn't work out, tell us what it's saying and what you were trying to do. We're not psychic. Well, not that psychic.
