how do you download thing onto body shop. a step-by-step way.

Bodyshop looks to 3 places. The game itself (which gets complicated), Downloads, and SavedSims. It saves your work-in-progress under Projects.
#1 You may have to create the My Documents/The Sims 2/Downloads folder.
#2 Keep all your downloads there.
#3 If you put clothing under SavedSims then Bodyshop should show those thumbnails first.
#4 image recoloring is easy for the files you find in Projects.
#5 Do that before you import the clothing into your game as "everyday" etc.
