i cant istall the game i have the sims 2 peths dvd rom but i have the sims 2 pc cd rom edition is this why the sims 2 pets doesn't work

you need to install the sims 2 before you install pets :)

i forgot to suggest you buy the sims 2 if you don't already have it :) hope this helps!
