ok...you have to learn their secrets. Her secret is she is cheating on him, his secret is that is planning on taking all the money from a patent (or something like that). Once you learn their secrets, you need to tell/sell the secret to the other one. They will go off and fight with one another, leaving you to hack into the system and free the garbage man. Hope this helps (if you didn't already figure it out)

And they will fight and then you will be able to hack the door and save Gimi.
