no.... the roof is like sims one. When youve reached top floor, no more building ( upwards !!!! ) allowed ...
With the exception that you can customize the roof, and so make gable end roofs etc. You can also have chimneys in The Sims 2. Sims cannot go in the attic though, so they're still limited to the 3 floors.
you can't build on it but I beleive you can make it a room.
Eh? But I recall ChEaTeH saying above that you can't go into the attic. It's alright anyway, I get the jist.
